"Why is this not Uploaded?"
Photos that didn't make it.

While I genuinely do like these ones a lot, there's two reasons why these ones weren't uploaded. The first, and most obvious, is that there's hairs on the sock. Right now, I'm in an Airbnb and, while I did my best to clean the room I'm currently using as an office space, I can only do so much to combat carpet (my worst enemy) as a whole. I know I could have just photoshopped out the hairs and dots, but I wasn't too happy with them regardless just because I feel like they could just be better in general. The second reason is because the other results (uploaded as my 'big bro' post on Bluesky) is just superior quality. I included boots and socks that didn't show as much dirt due to the gray bottoms, along with using a built-in camera filter to make things much cleaner and give that soft blur to the background for a nicer and more professional result.

Recently, while working on some face-made worldbuilding concepts (fuckin’ nerd, I know), I have a character whose kind of taken over by what’s called the “Heraldry System”, which is a sentient god-like computer who acts as a kind of leader to the Heralds. The character had gotten through the Heralds barrier successfully, the first person to ever do so, and the Heraldry System deemed him worthy to act as its vessel. Covering him from head to toe in the specially made armor, taking over his body, putting his consciousness into its own form of suppressed mental storage, turning him into nothing more than a specially crafted living robot for the System to utilize in any way it sees fit. Carrying out orders, hunting down defectors, he’s not in control of his own mind or actions in any capacity. While one could assume that someone as strong as him would constantly try to fight back in his own mind to attempt to regain his body, he doesn’t. If he gets injured, he wouldn’t even know it as the System in control of his entire being keeps the body well-cared for. He doesn’t have expectations, desires, a need for hope or a future, anyone to lead or anyone to expect more and more from him. He’s just… relaxed. He gets to feel free in his oppression. The System’s voice just reassures his thoughts that this is what he truly wants. He just wants to feel the surprisingly warm void around his mind, pushing him deeper into relaxation, no matter what happens in the outside world. Even if he were to be deleted one day, he doesn’t need to care because he doesn’t need to think. He doesn’t have a body, he doesn’t have a world, he just has that peace in the System. A truly happy human being to be a drone for something truly superior to him.
